In his guest blog post on Entrepreneur, Syed Balkhi discusses using guest blogging to grow your audience, improve SEO and backlinks, drive traffic to landing pages, and build authority.
Even though it may sound a bit strange, many bloggers, authors and entrepreneurs still guest blog on multiple sites. Watch the experts such as: Richard Branson, Seth Godin, Neil Patel, and many others. They are all guest blogging.
(3) How to Incorporate Guest Blogging into Your Strategy
Kelsey Meyer published an article on The Content Marketing Institute’s blog about incorporating guest blogging into your content marketing strategy. This is an interesting because it talks about guest blogging from the host’s perspective. Although Kelsey uses business blogs as her examples, the strategic approach is relevant to any blogger with their own travel blog who is trying to build their brand by supplementing it with quality content from other travel bloggers.
We’re not talking about spam-like 300-word blog posts written by your SEO agency and submitted to 500 different “blogs.” Guest-contributed content includes educational, high-quality articles that showcase your company’s area of expertise and highlight the author as a thought leader within the industry. They should be nonpromotional, professionally edited, and submitted to a single outlet.

It’s good to see some competition for my 100 Travel Blogs lists, although this list doesn’t include any information about what type of guest content they’re looking for. This guest blogging resource list for travel bloggers does include the name of the travel blog and the link where you can submit your guest article.

Guest blogger Elna Cain reviews all the different steps involved in guest blogging from beginning to end, including how to go about finding host blogs through to drafting your pitch. This article includes a useful link to an article on Blogging Wizard about how to Craft the Perfect Guest Post Pitch, which shares the key learning about keeping your pitches short and sweet.
